Nickelson Farms began in 1998 with a few Registered Angus and cross-bred cattle. We both grew up in Southeast Missouri on cattle farms, learning from previous generations the importance of beef production. 

In 2008 we purchased our first registered Herefords, and have grown from there. It is our primary goal to produce cattle for local producers providing them with quality bulls, replacement heifers, and feeders.  One of the best things about this business are the friends made along the way!

The purpose of the Beef Quality Assurance is to protect consumer confidence in beef safety and quality. Most of our cattle will enter the food supply at some point and the BQA program hopes to make sure all eating experiences are good ones. Remember, we are not just cattle producers, we are food producers.
